About Dave...

Dave Karl is a man who loves life and loves to entertain as well.

He lives a Domestic life with his wife Marsha and their youngest

daughter Gabrielle. They have two adult children, Leonard, Christine and Nick (Husband)

who reside in Arizona, one of which is married

and has two children, Nathan, Alexis and Kristy.

Born and raised in Illinois, Dave became an entertainer at an early

age unexpectedly by impersonating cartoon characters for his friends and

family. His mentor was Mel Blanc.

That led into music.

At the age of eight, he learned how to play guitar, followed by other instruments,

bass guitar, drums and keyboard.

Going through the Elvis craze and then the Beatles before coming to a halt

where he loves to be and that's in Country Music.

Through his years in the music business, his main focus was on the singer.

"There's such a variety of singers out there just waiting to be impersonated

and I've got my eye on them." said Dave.

It didn't take long before he was impersonating John Conlee and singing

"Rose Colored Glasses", which lead him to Kenny Rogers.

"I love what their songs do to the audience, they're true to the heart, full

of compassion and I can really get connected with the audience."

"I know what it takes to be an Impersonator. A good eye. a good set of ears

and a flexable voice."

Adjusting my voice to do John Conlee is a great challenge for me. I love it

and is so much fun. however, impersonating Kenny is different."

Dave's natural voice is so close to Kenny's that it is nearly effortless for

him to do his songs.

While pursuing his music career, he was blessed by having the privilege

to open shows for some of Nashville's finest artists: Lee Greenwood,

Ronnie Milsap, Marie Osmond, the late Dan Seals, Ray Price, and

Ronnie McDowell, to name a few, while in a country group called Heartland.

Dave recently moved to Phoenix, Arizona in January 2010.

In March, he was approached by an independent motion picture company, and won the honor to appear as

Kenny Rogers in a movie called "QUEENS OF COUNTRY" which is due to be released

in March/April of 2011 to the theatres. It was filmed in Cave Creek, Arizona.

Dave continues to fulfill his dream by entertaining audiences all over the world.
His show "A TOUCH OF KENNY" is something to see.
